چکیده
In this paper an analysis is made of the influence of the sampling period in the control performance of a pole-placement adaptive controller for a real-time distributed control system under output jitter conditions. Results show that the lower the sampling frequency the better control performance is obtained for the same jitter conditions. Key-Words: jitter, real-time systems, distributed control, adaptive controller, control performance.

CAN-based Real Time Adaptive Distributed Control
It is well know that the use of a distributed control architecture induces jitter problems in the sampling period definition that leads to the degradation of the control performance [1], [2] and [3]. This degration is seldom evaluated with real-word, real-time systems and most of the results are obtained by simulation. In this paper experimental results obtain under different jitter conditions ...
متن کاملA Non-Preemptive Two-Class M/M/1 System with Prioritized Real-Time Jobs under Earliest-Deadline-First Policy
This paper introduces an analytical method for approximating the performance of a two-class priority M/M/1 system. The system is fully non-preemptive. More specifically, the prioritized class-1 jobs are real-time and served with the non-preemptive earliest-deadline-first (EDF) policy, but despite their priority cannot preempt any non real-time class-2 job. The waiting class-2 jobs can only be s...
متن کاملMaximum Power Point Tracker for Photovoltaic Systems Based on Moth-Flame Optimization Considering Partial Shading Conditions
The performance of photovoltaic (PV) systems is highly dependent on environmental conditions. Due to probable changes in environmental conditions, the real-time control of PV systems is essential for exploiting their maximum possible power. This paper proposes a new method to track the maximum power point of PV systems using the moth-flame optimization algorithm. In this method, the PV DC-DC co...
متن کاملJitterbug and TrueTime: Analysis Tools for Real-Time Control Systems
The paper presents two recently developed, MATLAB-based analysis tools for real-time control systems. The first tool, called JITTERBUG, is used to compute a performance criterion for a control loop under various timing conditions. The tool makes it easy to quickly judge how sensitive a controller is to implementation effects such as slow sampling, delays, jitter, etc. The second tool, called TR...

This paper analyzes a discrete-time $Geo/Geo/c$ queueing system with multiple working vacations and reneging in which customers arrive according to a geometric process. As soon as the system gets empty, the servers go to a working vacations all together. The service times during regular busy period, working vacation period and vacation times are assumed to be geometrically distributed. Customer...
